Zacapa Centenario 23years is a blend of rums, which have matured at least between 6 and 23 years. Zacapa Centenario has 23years butterscotsch sweet flavors with hints of spicy oak and dried fruit. This rum is produced by Industrias Licoreras the Guatemala, in 1944, which resulted from the fusion of four distilleries. This company is the largest rumproducent of Guatemala and delivers only high quality rum. This 23 year old rum was invented by the Spanish physician and chemist, Alejandro Burdaleta. He distilled rum from sugar cane syrup and allowed to mature then through the Solera. This Zacapa Centenario 23years is the flagship of the distillery, this is also evident from the fact that this rum five times the best premium rum was declared the Caribbean Weeks' Rum Festival.
