Spey Tenne matures initially on ex-bourbon barrels before an after-ripening of six months, takes place ex-tawny port barrels. This after-ripening results in beautiful color and gives the whiskey extra fruity influences. The scent is soft and fruity with very light notes of raspberry, rose and its notice anything earthly. The taste is soft, sweet and fruity. With passage of time are slightly drier notes forwards and hints of almonds. If you add a few drops of water, the sweet notes will prevail.
