Port Dundas 40 years in 1978 is a special and very old grain whiskey that comes from the closed Port Dundas distillery. The independent bottler Douglas Laing had mercy on the release of this whiskey, what happened to his natural strength. And this of course without cooling and filtering reinforce the color. The circulation is very limited with only 87 bottles. This 40 year old single cask whiskey Port Dundas has a silky character and a pleasant smell. Among other influences waxed wood, cedar and flamed orange are present therein. Layers of honey and milk are seen in the mouth. This is about to sophisticated and long finish in which both apple and pear prevails.
