Port Charlotte 10 years was released for the second time. The maturation takes place in different types of barrels; first-fill bourbon, sherry, Tempranillo and (French) wine barrels. The edition is limited to 18,000 bottles worldwide. Nose: smoke is prominent, as well as ginger bread, vanilla, clove, and rubber. Taste: syrup combined with peach, red apple and blackberry. Further, caramel, toffee, and fumes. Finish: long, smoky and complex.
