Laphroaig Triple Wood is matured in three types of vessels: first in ex-bourbon barrels, then in small 19th century quarter casks and the last in selected Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 48% and is non-chill filtered. The flavor is a soft blend of sweet raisins and creamy apricots and a slight hint of smoke. With a drop of water, the turf, followed by complex notes of citrus fruits and herbs, directly forward.
