Glenglassaugh Octaves Classic is the type of vessel named where the whiskey matures on. An Octave cask is relatively small with a capacity of fifty liters. The use of these small vessels leads to more interaction between the spirit and the timber with the result that the whiskey a lot of depth and flavor obtained in a short period. Nose: sweets, apple, white pepper and cinnamon. Taste: lively and fruity with notes of apple and plum. This is complemented by vanilla, oak and barley. Aftertaste: good balance between citrus and sweets.
