Glenglassaugh 47 years is the second oldest whiskey belonging to the Rare Cask Editions batch 3. The distillation of the whiskey took place was chosen in 1968 and 2016 to fill the content. A finish on a Pedro Ximénez Puncheon delivers rich character which forms the basis of sherry. The aroma is fruity with dates and blueberries together with dark chocolate and pepper. The taste is reminiscent of a combination of raisins, cocoa, walnut and oak. Circulation concerns 404 bottles.
