Glendalough 13 years is an Irish single malt whiskey has matured in bourbon barrels. It was initially planned to bottle the whiskey at age 12, but nevertheless decided to postpone for one year. Brian O'Discroll, contemporary shareholder of the distillery and a magnitude in terms of rugby, played for the national team with number 13. ode elected him the whiskey a year later than planned bottling. Nose: butterscotch, honey, lemon, citrus and clove. Taste: vanilla and various fruit layers including citrus, peach and apricot. With time in the glass the whiskey is spicier.
