Benriach 22 years Dunder undergoes its first aging in barrels of an American oak, after which a transition takes place to the dark rumvaten from Jamaica. The name "Dunder" refers to the restsap cane which is used for the Jamaican rumdistillatie. Nose: sweet barley, turf, bananas, toffee and ginger. Taste: various fruits, including pineapple and apricots. This turns into caramel, rum and vanilla. Finish: brown sugar and coconut.
