The Balvenie 14 years of The Week Peat is part of a new series called "Stories Balvenie. This expression is also introduced into the market as the successor to the previously released Balvenie 14 years Peat week. The story is about Whiskey Distillery former manager Ian Miller who made a trip to Islay to experience production up close here. Once back at Balvenie he decided to experiment with what he had learned on Islay. Thus peat dried barley was used in the production process, resulting in a peated Balvenie whiskey. Today, working one week a year in the production of peated spirit. Balvenie 14 years of The Week Peat has excellent balanced character that gentle influences of barley and sweets together with earthy, smoky notes.
